学園黙示録: HighSchool of the Dead is one of those exceptions I make in newer anime.

Zombie apocalypse = my most irrational fear
Zombie apocalypse anime = my new favourite anime.

I was sad in the manga when my favourite character of all died :c

Cool note: Every episode has it's own unique ending theme. I think that the first episode's 君と太陽が死んだ日 was the best so far (The Day You And The Sun Died).
